Old Video Surfaces in the Wake of UK Crisis: "India Should Say We Have To Fix This"

New Delhi:During a political crisis in the United Kingdom, an old video of South African comedian and talk show host Trevor Noah suggesting that India "colonise Britain" has surfaced.After Home Secretary Suella Braverman resigned, British Prime Minister Liz Truss, who was already the subject of intense scrutiny, was thrown into even greater disarray. In her letter of resignation, Braverman criticised the way the current UK government was handling the financial crisis.

According to one report, the present cost-of-living problem has caused millions of Britons to miss meals.An old footage from Noah's "The Daily Show" has gone viral on social media amid the political unrest in the UK. In the video, Noah advises that one of "their ancient countries" should colonise Britain in order to put things under control.Currently, Noah believes that one of Britain's former colonies should simply colonise the country because conditions there are so dire. Heavy rain floods many roads and damages cars in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru: On Wednesday evening, Bengaluru was severely pounded by heavy rain, which caused numerous arterial routes in the city's east, south, and centre, including Bellandur's IT district, to become flooded.
